Pretty little things

I am the first to shop Zara, H&M , and Target (don't we all love the thrill of a bargain?!), but I have to say there is just something special about a gorgeous pair of pants that NEVER go out of style and are made well. Let me back track a bit. This weekend I pulled out a fairly expensive pair of pants out of my closet to wear. These pants are older than my first born child, they live in the back of my closet and are too dressy for everyday but not quite cocktail attire. Having nothing to wear to this Spring, since it's too cold for true "Spring clothing", but too late in the season to wear winter sweaters (and we've all had had it with tights at this point in the year) I busted out my pair of black Ralph Lauren wide leg trousers and Ta Da!! They still work beautiful with a black cami and blazer! Thank you black pants. Even though they are old and don't get much wear they where there in a pinch. And all because I spent a little extra money one day and bought something well tailored, beautifully made and timeless. The moral of this story being that bargarins are great and fads are fun but great fashion never gets old!!
