What began as a simple LIST of the most stylish, "wear it well" people in the Somerset Hills has morphed into a what to wear, where to shop, and how to put it together destination.

Overall I like them
Talk about #TBT, but I like overalls. Remember how comfy and easy to wear they were? They were my "fat day" go to. (Now that I look back though I realize that my 18 year old self didn't have a clue what a "fat day" really was??/!!
Regardless, my college roomie rocked hers with a white wifebeater, while I worked the grey turtle and black cardigan with mine, paten leather chunky heel loafers included.
"Don't go chasing waterfalls" just yet though, overalls are tricky. If the crotch hangs too low it looks ridiculous and if they are too tight they look ridiculous as well. Also, being that I am no longer 18 they can tend t
o look too cutsie. I actually have a pair in my closet as we speak, but don't like they way they fit enough to wear them out and about, I can't fathom parting with them though because I like the concept way too much.
So here are my picks for an updated overall…

What I wore where
Just off the most incredible week at the Sheriva in Anguilla. Clear blue water, beautiful beaches, and I spent my days in these great pieces from Lem Lem.
Even better than being beautiful, proceeds go back to the Ethiopian artisans responsible for these products.
lemlem:
n. 1) hand made in Ethiopia from natural cotton.
v. 2) [Amharic] bloom, flourish.
3) [history] Since ancient times in the land of the Queen of Sheba, the Ethiopian people have adorned themselves in beautiful hand woven and hand embroidered clothing. The hand spinning of cotton and intricate embroidery was the work of women while the hand weaving was done mainly by men.

Feeling blue after the holidays?
Maybe you drank too much eggnog, ate too many cookies, didn't win the ugly sweater contest, were mean to your in-laws, or got caught re-gifting?
Whatever the reason you're feeling less than "sparkly" after the holidays I have your cure, buy shoes!!!!
You won't feel bad if you go up or down a size, they keep your feet warm as you apologize to your in-laws, they will make your ugly sweater look better, and they don't ever re-gift.
Here are my picks from Derek Lam 10 Crosby Street, Marc Jacobs, See by Chloe, and Sigerson Morrison.
